Cloud Computing

Can your business benefit from being in the Cloud?

Cloud Computing lets you access computer services
as a utility, on the same basis that you use
electricity, water or gas.

How cloud computing works

The "Cloud" isn't run by any single company. It is not actually a single entity either. Huge data centres host data and application services, all over the world. These services have a guaranteed SLA (Service Level Agreement) of at least 99.999% uptime and offer platform-independent IT services. It all adds up to a reduction in the cost of hardware and less need for a complex IT infrastructure with the associated logistics management that requires.

Benefits of cloud computing

  • All the power of a real Exchange Server but no expensive hardware
  • Access email from any computer, anywhere on the planet
  • iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android and Windows Mobile support
  • Unified Mailbox: all looking at the same inbox
  • Can be expanded to host your documents in the cloud and edit them in any web browser
  • No need to buy Microsoft Office for your computer, it runs in the cloud
  • Share email, contacts and calendars with others in your company
